About the Author

Zita Steele is a journalist, author and military history writer. She writes fiction and nonfiction books, and has published more than 10 works, including the Erwin Rommel: Photographer series (2015-present). With a background in art, she designs and illustrates her published work. She also produces videos and creates multimedia content. ---------------------- Erwin Rommel (1891-1944) was a career soldier in the German Army. He served in WWI and WWII, and taught at military academies. During WWII, he became one of the most famous strategists of modern times. He was also an author, illustrator, and photographer. He wrote and illustrated "Infantry Attacks," first published in 1937, drew sketches, and took thousands of wartime photos.
