Synopsis
The Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) is a standardized exam that is used by many private and public schools throughout the country to measure the language arts and mathematics achievement and reasoning abilities of students in first through eleventh grade. The CTP is also used in some states as an entrance examination for certain schools. The CTP 5 replaces the older CTP 4. The CTP 5 is the paper version and the CTP Online is the computerized version of the exam. The CTP 5 Level 3 exam is administered to students who are in the third grade in the spring and the fourth grade in the fall. The exam is composed of multiple-choice and open-ended questions in Verbal Reasoning, Auditory Comprehension, Reading Comprehension, Writing Mechanics, Writing Concepts and Skills, Quantitative Reasoning, and Mathematics. This workbook contains over 250 practice questions that cover all sections of the CTP 5 Level 3 exam. This workbook also includes information about the CTP 5 and the various question types on the exam. Answer sheets are provided in the back of the book for the student to bubble in his or her answers. Understanding the content and format of the CTP 5 Level 3 exam will enable a student to perform to the best of his or her ability on the actual test.
