Synopsis

The human race faces total destruction by an inter-dimensional evil being called Ego, but is unaware of their fate as a super computer virus cripples the world's economy. Richard's team is a pawn in the middle of a deadly game between three super beings and a black ops organization that won't stop until the superhero group is disbanded or dead. Susan is implicated in Elizabeth's murder attempt, but Richard intervenes by sending her off on a solo mission to find the origin of the killer computer virus. Elizabeth comes out of her coma, just in time to fight against Ego in the historical streets of Saint Louis. Our heroes fight for their lives as Ego unmercifully uses their own emotions to feed his dragon-like powers. John in the meantime searches for the nuclear bomb in hope of saving the world and weakening Ego. An unexpected twist leaves Richard questioning the people he thought were allies and the real future in store for the world. About the Author:

Jaime Mera was born in Bogota, the capital city of Colombia. He migrated to the US as a child in 1972. Enlisted in the US Army in 1984 and retired as a Counter-Intelligence Officer in 2008. He attended Indiana University Southeast in 1994 and received a Bachelors of Arts in General Studies with a minor in Psychology. Retired and with a lot of time to write; he has set his goal in completing the superhero storyline. He has been a Christian since 1991, and father of two college age plus children. He published his first Sci-fi novel in 2004, Creator, A Superhero Epic (Series of eight books). His subsequent books of the series include: He Is Known as Ego (2006), Guild Without a Name (2014), and The Galaxy Is Ours (2014). He has also published a religious edification book "Jesus and the Paint on the Wall" in 2012. His latest publication include the 5th book of the Superhero Epic series "Masterminds", and a doomsday prepper how-to book, "Doomsday Prepping and Survival: From Civil Disturbances to Biblical Proportions". Although science fiction is his roots, the genres of fantasy, religion, and practical how-to books are among his favorite interests.
