Joy Sewing is an American journalist and an award-winning fashion editor for the Houston Chronicle. She s also host of the Joyful Life Radio Show. She has interviewed hundreds of famous faces, from the late fashion designer Oscar de la Renta to Beyoncé. Her work has appeared in Money, People, Vibe, Shape, Time, Town & Country and other magazines. Joy has a soft heart for shelter animals with her two adopted boxers, Ava and Prince. She advocates for animal-rescue efforts through her work. She is also founder of the Year of Joy, an initiative to spread joy and provide joyful experiences for children in underserved communities.
