Synopsis
In the seventh book in The Adventures of Archibald and Jockabeb series, the brothers are reunited with Willow and Meatloaf, two members of the secretive Moonlight Clan who the boys met during their harrowing weekend in New York City. The setting for their next great adventure now shifts from the bustling streets of The Big Apple to a barren, windswept stretch of tundra north of the Arctic Circle. Only days before Christmas, Special Agent Quade of the Paranormal Surveillance Agency resurfaces. Arriving in the dead of night with another dangerous looking government agent named Lynch, Quade explains to the boys' parents why Archibald and Jockabeb are needed as members of a secret task force that has been formed to investigate a possible alien landing near the North Pole. Willow and Meatloaf have already been recruited due to their experience in dealing with the Ratweil, a supernatural creature that Agent Quade mistakenly thought was an alien being. When the skeptical parents reluctantly agree to let their sons join the task force, they have no idea the untold danger that is lurking in frozen wasteland shrouded in twenty-four hour darkness. Readers once again will be treated to a fast-paced adventure story and a whole new group of memorable characters-some human, and some not. Interesting facts about the area above the Arctic Circle help set the stage for another classic battle between the forces of good and evil. And through it all, the two teenage brothers' personalities continue to evolve-this time, however, with the added dimension of a deepening romantic relationship between Archibald and Willow!

About the Author
When Art Collins retired as a highly successful chairman and CEO of a Fortune 500 company, he didn’t write the book on leadership that many expected. Instead, he decided that penning children’s stories would be far more interesting. Borrowing two characters, Archibald and Jockabeb, from tales told by his father many years before, and drawing up his own rich imagination, Art introduces the two young brothers to an incredible cast of characters – some human, some otherworldly – in locations that range from the mysterious forest behind the boys’ house to the lush and exotic Amazon. Collins honed his stories by running them past his target audience; fourth-graders taught by his brother Geoffrey Collins, who allowed his classes to be used as a focus group over several years. Art currently divides his time between Chicago and the Vail Valley in Colorado.
