“Ted Malloch―bon vivant, scholar, diplomat, businessman, sportsman ... brings us along on some of his greatest adventures.” ―Linda Bridges, Editor-at-Large, National Review

A former Yale professor and senior business executive whose contact list includes the most powerful leaders in business, media and politics, Ted Malloch has seen it all, done it all, and now is telling all. From his appointment as sergeant in the Toilet Patrol (reserved for children deemed “gifted”) to his appointment as scholar-diplomat by the US State Department to a peek behind the curiosity curtain at the Davos meeting to how he lost millions in the dot-com bubble to his one-person seminar for the chairman of Toyota, it’s all here. With names.

In Davos, Aspen, and Yale, Malloch presents a humorous and witty take on his life experiences in this unique and riotous account. Masterfully woven throughout the stories are insights on his driving passion: enterprise, organization, dedication, skill, teamwork, diligence, and planning. The virtues that drive an uncommon life are illustrated throughout―as are stories of those who have abandoned those virtues. He’s not afraid to name names; many well-known leaders play parts in this can’t-put-down-and-get-back-to-work “WASPY" tale. Malloch demonstrates how his Christian faith and spiritual capital have motivated and guided his purpose and higher calling.

From the Inside Flap:
Quintessential WASP and Philadelphia native, Theodore Roosevelt Malloch's life has been one of moral courage in an increasingly secular world. Having attended Gordon College outside Boston, the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, and earned a PhD in political economy at the University of Toronto in just three yearswhere he studied with renowned political philosophers and note economists, he gained a deep understanding of the importance of God and moral valuesMalloch always surmised that he would have a global influencewhether in government or business or, as it turned out, both. Deemed a global Sherpa by the esteemed Lady Margaret Thatcher and described by noted international business luminaries as the intellectual heir to management guru Peter Drucker, advancing the tradition of value-based business management, Theodore Roosevelt Malloch's career saw him as a professor at Yale. His well-rounded faithful upbringing, conservative-classical education, and strong Christian faith kept him grounded amidst the corruption and politics that plagues much of academia and business life. Then as a senior international economist at the State Department and US Senate, Malloch butted heads with a Congress whose objective was winning elections and grabbing power rather than doing the right thing. While working on Wall Streetwhere he learned that power corrupts and money even more so, but it is better to have some of eachand hobnobbing with global business magnates at Davos and the Aspen Institute, he was saddened by the superficiality of and priority placed upon more hedonistic pursuits. However, as a Christian, an economist, and an ethicist in positions of standing and authority, Malloch has had a tremendous positive intellectual and personal influence on many political and business leaders throughout the world. Davos, Aspen, and Yale is an uncommon memoir, a humorous and witty take on Malloch's life experiences and the lessons he's learned. Now at the peak of his career,
