About the Author

Rev. Joanna Bartlett (they/them) is a certified medium and ordained minister with the National Spiritualist Association of Churches and has been an intuitive and spiritual development guide since 2001. 

They're the author of several books on mediumship and intuition development, including The Spiritual Symbols Workbook, Spirit Energy, Spirit Circle Games, Signs from Spirit Journal, Intuitive Symbols Coloring Book, and the Led by Light series of books for developing intuitive mediumship abilities.

Born in England, they spent their middle school years in Barbados, then moved to the United States, living in Florida, the Carolinas and New York state. They now make their home in Eugene, Oregon.

When they're not helping people heal from the pain of loss or teaching students tap into their own intuition and develop their ability to communicate with Spirit, Joanna enjoys cooking, gardening, spinning yarn and knitting.
