About the Author

Jessica Julius Veazie is a strong 32-year-old mother of six boys. She was born in Galveston, Texas as the oldest of her 14 siblings. She has made many strides in life and was the first of her siblings to graduate from college. She survived sexual abuse from her father and overcame extreme mental and physical abuse from the people who were supposed to love and support her. After surviving her suicide attempt, she realized that God had a much bigger purpose for her life. In 2018 she published her first book Before the Sunshine to reveal many real-life situations. Jessica wrote this book praying that her testimonies would give others hope for their future. There were trials and tribulations. Then came the sunshine as she got older and wiser. The good did not come until she learned how to forgive and accept the things that she could not change. Jessica had to stand up to her inner self by encouraging and motivating herself. She woke up one day and realized that God had a bigger purpose for her and that she would see it through.
