About the Author

E. Kim Dignum is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant, a General Securities Principal and an Investment Advisor Representative through Commonwealth Financial Network. She has been providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management services to the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 1986. She holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Texas Tech University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She is frequently quoted by national magazines and newspapers and has appeared on national television (Peter Jennings, World News Tonight) and radio (NPR), in addition to providing financial speeches to local organizations and corporations. Her outstanding reputation and commitment to the community is evidenced by the many boards and organizations in which she participates. Her honors include being selected by the U.S. Department of Labor as a mentor to their Wi$e Up Program, selected as "Outstanding Woman in the Workplace" by the City of Fort Worth and "Woman of Distinction" by Altrusa International, Inc. She has been recognized for several years as a Chairman's Level advisor - a distinction attained by just over 3 percent of advisors affiliated with Commonwealth Financial Network. E. Kim is married with three adult children and three grandchildren. She is an avid golfer, a world traveler and a private pilot.
