About the Author

Paul Linzey is a former pastor and military chaplain. He retired from the Army as a colonel, and is currently an adjunct professor and a mentor for doctoral students at Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. His writing includes freelance articles for various magazines, and devotional articles for Christian publications, while working on his next book. 

Personal interests include sports, music, and digital photography. He and his wife love to travel, play games, and enjoy movies and live stage productions. They love animals and have a pet Beagle.

His theme verse in the Bible is from 1st Thessalonians 2:8, where the apostle writes, "We loved you so much that we were delighted to share not only the gospel, but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us." Because of this emphasis on relationship in the Bible, the focus of much of Paul's Writing and ministry is on the relational aspects of discipleship.
