"Seiler presents a strange and ingenious mix that is part The Road, part Dune... This book delivers an inventive and eerie future."--Kirkus Reviews
Trapped underground in the Svalbard Seed Vault, Mavin Cedarstrom is rescued by a band of strange women dressed in furs. The Peregrine scout Simone Kita was sent to recover seeds from the top of the world and bring them south to the floating gardens of Kashphera. Conjuring myth and magic, this fun, action-packed novel is a delight. River's Child is a wild ride into an ancient future. Fasten your seat belt as our spirited heroes ride icebergs from the frozen north, battle wild men, and fall in love while they race to prevent world war.

Written with style and flair, RIVER'S CHILD tells a remarkably original story of a far distant future where magic and mystery meet ecological disaster. It is sure to be enjoyed by readers of character-driven fantasy who think outside the box.--Indie Reader
"Seiler peppers his writing with the perfect amount of suspense and humor as he weaves this unforgettable tale." 5 STARS --Literary Titan
"Mark Daniel Seiler's "River's Child" is one of those wonderful books that takes us to a destination and lets us fill in many of the details about how we arrived. Seiler weaves in and out of time into a futuristic human-scape, where we find mirror images of ourselves and the prejudices of today seen through prisms that are at once familiar and disquieting because of their intense emotional clarity. We find adventure, too - this book is a stirring read expertly crafted to reveal pieces of a timeline to a place far ahead looking right back at us as we live today. Bring your imagination and your honesty."
-Kirk Westphal, author of No Ordinary Game and Bodies of Wood and Water.
