About the Author
Janet Pittman, a quilt artist from West Des Moines, Iowa, has been designing quilts for 20 years. Her quilts have won several awards in Iowa and Des Moines quilt shows. Her quilt designs have appeared in Fons & Porter Love of Quilting, American Patchwork and Quilting and Country Marketplace. Janet is the author of First-Time Machine Applique, the bestselling Applique: The Basics & Beyond, and Colorful Quilts for Playful Kids.
