Synopsis

Introduce your little ones in English and Spanish to the lengths children will go to make new friends and keep old ones when they’ve moved away!

After moving from her home country, Eva begins to grow impatient with the time it takes to send and receive letters from her best friend. Her father claims international phone calls are too expensive, yet it feels like an eternity for letters to reach her! Eva soon discovers the magic behind tin can telephones and their infinite conversation abilities. Will she be able to gather enough string for her tin can telephone to reach her best friend, who is now thousands of miles away? Parents will adore this bilingual English-Spanish hardcover as it features the trial and error behind a little girl’s personal experiment in using every rope, string, and ribbon in the neighborhood to ensure she’s connected to her best friend back home.
