Darrin "1831" Collins is an author, educator, scholar, and international martial arts competitor. Born and raised in Chicago, Darrin is a global traveler and pulls inspiration for his characters from his many international adventures. As a Chicago high school science teacher, he is committed to integrating themes (identity, social justice, judicial policy) into his writing that directly relate to and inspire the youth with which he works.
