About the Author
Dan Schechter taught at Loyala Law School, Los Angeles, from 1980 to 2018. He is a co-author of California Real Estate Finace (5th ed.) and writes the weekly Westlaw Commercial Finance Newsletter. He drafted several state and federal statutes affecting finance and has served as a consultant and expert witness in cases in volving finance, insolvency, and real property.
