Synopsis
A wilderness escape becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse.While fishing in a remote Canadian wilderness park, former U.S. Army captain Roger Cummings witnesses a brutal murder and the abduction of a woman. When the woman escapes her captors and asks for Roger’s protection, he reluctantly agrees.Now, stranded in the vast Quetico Provincial Park, Roger and Janeene must flee by canoe, pursued by a ruthless killer determined to silence them both. As they navigate the treacherous landscape, they face not only the elements but also the moral dilemmas of survival. Will they make it out alive, or will the wilderness claim them as its own?

About the Author
Born the oldest of nine children, Don J. O’ Donnell graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1973 and served eight years in the Army as an officer. After service, he obtained an MBA and became a management consultant, traveling throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia, and Europe. He loved the work and the impact he had on clients, but not the time spent in airport concourses. He is recently retired and now lives in Florida with his wife where he finds time to fish, play many sports, and read. Although STRANDED is his first novel to be published.
