Synopsis
All she wanted was a cup of coffee on that fateful morning. Then she witnesses a man run down by a hit and run driver. As he lay dying he tasks her with finishing his mission, deliver an envelope to one congressman, no one else. Failure could mean war.
She was not looking for adventure, she was not looking to be hunted by an international assassin. She’s a rodeo contestant, not a trained federal agent, not a spy. All she has for a reference as to what to do comes from reading fictional mystery novels, not exactly a text book education.
Now, with time ticking away, Sandra must navigate the shadows of danger to locate the elusive congressman before those desperate to conceal the envelope's contents close in on her. Set against the backdrop of a country teetering on the brink of war, "The Reluctant Courier" promises a pulse-pounding ride through mystery and unexpected romance.
Join Sandra on a quest that begins with a simple desire for coffee and evolves into a quest for survival, love, and the unraveling of a profound enigma. Pam Stevens invites you to experience the extraordinary in the midst of the seemingly mundane-a journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.
