Synopsis

Books can take us anywhere. But what happens when children can no longer get to them?

Benjamin loves his library. He loves the books, the adventures they offer and, most of all, sharing wonderful stories with children.

Then the books stop arriving.

When Benjamin discovers that the library has closed because of an outbreak of sickness, he worries about all the children who can no longer borrow books. But rather than give up, Benjamin and his insect friends decide to do something about it.
Their solution is as imaginative as it is ambitious: an army of ants, a team of dragonflies and a determined little ladybug join forces to deliver books safely to families.

No Books for Benjamin? is a charming celebration of libraries, literacy, community spirit and the joy of reading. It’s also a wonderful conversation starter for children about helping others, problem-solving and discovering the amazing world of insects.

A particularly fitting choice for homes, classrooms and libraries, this is a story with plenty of heart—and a message adults will appreciate just as much as children.
