What if the only hope for humanity rests on a cruise ship?
Lee Pearce, a former Confederation commander, ekes out a bleak existence aboard the Terran Princess, a luxury liner adrift in a galaxy overrun by the Ch'Tauk. When a battered transport ship appears, crewed by human prisoners escaped from the brutal alien empire, Lee finds himself thrust back into a war he thought was over.
But these aren't ordinary refugees. They carry a secret, a desperate message hinting at a lost fleet and a weapon powerful enough to turn the tide against the Ch'Tauk. Now, hunted by both the aliens and a rogue admiral consumed by vengeance, Lee must rally the Terran Princess's ragtag crew for a mission that could save humanity-or doom them all.

About the Author
James is the author of the Resolute Saga, an eight-book series that begins with Resolute Command. He is a Social Studies teacher who lives with his wife in Florida. When he isn't writing or teaching, he enjoys building plastic models and creating foam villages.
