From the Author
In late 2014, I created an Instagram account to share my
writing with the world. It was at once both thrilling and
terrifying, but I never looked back. Writing is my
therapy. I need to get out the manic words that bounce
around in my head or I'll lose my mind (what's left of
it). Finding others in this world who connect with your
sorrows, soar with your achievements, and devour your
soul is an indescribable feeling. Within these pages, you
will find many of my social media follower's favorite
pieces and the first words I shared with the world. We
are always growing, always moving forward. I am
constantly fascinated by the many women I meet living
inside of me. It is necessary and humbling to look back
at our small, simple first steps.
I don't regret a bit of this journey.
These words are red and real.
They are rouge.
