About the Author

Viola Grays-Wiley  received her baccalaureate in Elementary Education from Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, Mississippi. She further studied literacy education at Mississippi State, University of Chicago, and Portland State Universities. She pursued additional degrees, including a masters degree at Chicago State University, which propelled her into public speaking. After her 40+ years in the classroom and other administrative positions, she retired, but redirected her vision of promoting quality education for all children. In 2020, her successful release of QUALITY TEACHING- BEATING THE ODDS FOR AT-RISK STUDENTS, set into motion, a wave of popular children and education publications, which now has risen to more than 80 books.
