About the Author

Susan Bassler Pickford continues to write artful and engaging poems covering a variety of topics. Pickford received diplomas from Monmouth College, NJ; a BA from St. John's University;an MA from University of Massachusetts and a CAS from Harvard University. She taught ten years at the University of New England until retirement. Now she writes and performs in the Senior Players a part of Osher Lifelong Learning Institute of SMU Maine. She recently completed a family history titled " The Bassler Family in Focus Through Photos, Diaries and Letters" which covers Kerr, Jaxtheimer,Sherman, Honsinger, Buckingham, Gilbert and Bassler families.
