About the Author:

Welcome to my first book. Who am I? I am an everyday Christian who simply began saying, “Yes God,” to His requests in my 20s. Starting in 2012, He helped me build a series of classes to help everyday Americans learn to live healthier lives—physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. And then I met my ministry partner, Alyssa Plock, another everyday Christian who responded,“Yes God, but why?” In 2016, He began having me design and teach classes for everyday Christians to better understand our faith in general. Most of these classes were built on Alyssa’s “Whys?” As God explained why to the basics, we started seeking clarification to areas in our lives where we struggled, where we saw others struggle, or where there were apparent contradictions in some key Bible verses we knew. It truly does not matter whether you are a devout Catholic, an occasional Lutheran, or a true Jesus Freak, these Everyday Christian Guides will help you understand deep ideas that seem easy but cause many of us to struggle. Then God said, “Write a book, and use the lesson on prayer to start.
