Synopsis
For most of his life, author S.L. Keely has been a seeker of spiritual knowledge. In 1968, while still in graduate school, he had a near-death, out-of-body experience which catalyzed his interest in spirituality and consciousness. The search for his truth intensified during the last three decades as he sought to gain a more in-depth understanding of existence and purpose. This led him to develop his own personal philosophy which he refers to as Stan-ism (named after himself). In The Joy of the Journey toward Greater Enlightenment, he narrates his journey and discusses his communications with the spirit realm. He tells how those communications have allowed him to receive answers to questions and concerns he had on a variety of issues such as creation, suffering, purpose, consciousness, and more.
