Synopsis
Il y a une immigration constante et tragique dont la presse française ne parle pas. A la mort brutale de Marie, il tombe sous la coupe de Bruce et de sa bande de voyous, issus du ghetto de Mayotte. Il a 15 ans, se drogue, vole et se bat. Humilié, violé par Bruce, il le tue. Pour échapper à la vengeance des amis de Bruce, Moïse se jette dans l'océan au cours de son transfert au tribunal. Ce beau roman à l'écriture sensuelle et limpide est une polyphonie narrative parfaitement maîtrisée, qui donne voix aux différents protagonistes, qu'ils soient morts ou vivants. C'est aussi un réquisitoire contre la misère, un appel au secours pour cette île coincée entre pression migratoire et montée infernale de la violence.
