Synopsis
Maud, vingt et un ans, cache sa beauté et ses idéaux derrière de vilaines lunettes. Elle s'engage dans une ONG et se retrouve au volant d'un quinze tonnes sur les routes de la Bosnie en guerre. Alex, Lionel, Marc et Vauthier, qui l'accompagnent dans ce convoi, sont bien différents de l'image habituelle des volontaires humanitaires. About the Author
Jean-Christophe Rufin, avec son talent d'écrivain (Rouge Brésil - prix Goncourt 2001 -, Le Collier rouge, Immortelle randonnée...) et son expérience internationale ; a donné vie à Aurel Timescu avec Le Suspendu de Conakry et Les Trois Femmes du Consul. Le petit Consul revient aujourd'hui dans cette nouvelle aventure, pour le plus grand bonheur de tous ceux qui ont succombé à son charme.
