Si les noms, les lieux et les personnages sont ici fictifs, ils évoquent pourtant des événements et des faits bien réels : les dictatures communistes, la chute de l'Union soviétique, la manipulation des peuples et de l'Histoire, les expériences « médicales » menées sur des cobayes humains, les lavages de cerveau, et même, la disparition du sous-marin nucléaire Koursk. Ignacio Padilla revisite ainsi notre passé récent et signe une brillante parabole sur l'ambiguïté de notre condition. Car tout comme dans son roman précédent, Amphitryon, il nous montre avec ce récit noir, expressionniste, que l'écriture est toujours l'instrument le plus efficace pour dépeindre en profondeur un monde en décomposition et pour explorer la frontière ténue qui sépare parfois, dans l'esprit d'un homme, l'innocence de la culpabilité, la vérité du mensonge, la raison de la folie. - Nombre de page(s) : 1 vol.
