Synopsis
In this story, Rasputin, from Siberia, is trying to find his daughter he thought was gone forever to satisfy his quest for immortality. Canardo accidentally meets this girl, a cabaret singer who answers to the name of Alexandra. The latter, after having been informed of the existence of his father, is seeking to join. Canardo, which is there by accident, proposes to help him in his business and to accompany him to Siberia.

About the Author
Né le 28 juin 1954 à Bruxelles, Benoît Sokal n'a que vingt ans quand il crée Canardo, ce Marlowe mâtiné de Donald. En 1988, il s'associe à Alain Populaire pour Sanguine, un récit se déroulant durant la guerre de Trente ans. Il est l'un des premiers à passer à la mise en couleurs par informatique, dès 1994. En mai 1995, il commence un grand récit dans (À suivre), Le Vieil homme qui n'écrivait plus, une histoire d'amour dans le maquis français. À la veille de l'an 2000, Benoît Sokal lance son premier jeu video : L'Amerzone. Il sort encore Syberia, Paradise, et L'Ile noyée, avant de revenir à la BD avec Kraa (Casterman).

Dans cette histoire, Raspoutine, depuis la Sibérie, cherche à retrouver sa fille qu'il pensait disparue à jamais afin de satisfaire sa quête d'immortalité. Canardo rencontre par hasard cette fille, chanteuse de cabaret qui répond au prénom d'Alexandra. Cette dernière, après avoir été mise au courant de l'existence de son père, cherche à le rejoindre. Canardo, qui se trouve là par hasard, se propose de l'aider dans son entreprise et de l'accompagner en Sibérie.
