About the Author
Linus Torvalds est le créateur de Linux. D'origine finlandaise, il vit aujourd'hui en Amérique, à Beaverton, Oregon, avec sa femme Tove et leurs trois filles dans une très, très grande maison. Les salles de bains ¿ il y en a plusieurs ¿ sont toutes cinq fois plus grandes que la petite chambre de l'appartement où il a passé toutes ses années, enfant et adolescent, à bidouiller ses ordinateurs en mangeant des spaghettis bolognaises et à développer le logiciel qui allait en faire un milliardaire de l'informatique. Linus Torvalds raconte avec humour son histoire : celle d'un petit, un type issu d'une famille un peu bohème, pas riche et très communiste, devenu complètement par hasard l'un des plus grands informaticiens de la planète et le représentant du mouvement des logiciels libres.
