Née à Ottawa en 1939, Margaret Atwood est romancière, poète, essayiste et critique littéraire. Elle vit aujourd'hui à Toronto. Elle est l'auteur de trente-huit livres traduits dans plus de cinquante langues, dont Captive (1998), Le Tueur aveugle (2002, Booker Prize 2000), Le Dernier Homme (2005) et Le Fiasco du Labrador (2009), tous publiés dans la collection « Pavillons » chez Robert Laffont.
