About the Author
Philippe Besson est écrivain, scénariste et dramaturge. En l'absence des hommes , son premier roman, publié en 2001, est couronné par le Prix Emmanuel-Roblès. Depuis lors, il construit une œuvre au style à la fois sobre et raffiné. Il est l'auteur, entre autres, de Son frère , adapté au cinéma par Patrice Chéreau, et de L'Arrière-Saison (Grand Prix RTL-LiRE). En 2017, il livre " Arrête avec tes mensonges " , couronné par le Prix Maison de la Presse et porté à l'écran par Olivier Peyon en 2023. Après le succès du Dernier Enfant (2021) et de Paris-Briançon (2022), Ceci n'est pas un fait divers a paru en 2023, suivi d' Un soir d'été et de Vous parler de mon fils en 2024. Les romans de Philippe Besson, tous publiés aux éditions Julliard, sont traduits et diffusés dans plus de vingt-cinq pays.
