About the Author

Historian, Journalist, Diplomat of France Foreign Service, Patrick Howlett-Martin has published  number articles and books on Politics, International Relations and Art. Because of a dual citizenship (British and French), those works has been published in English and in French editions. He is considered as a specialist of Brazil and South American countries. Before entering France Diplomatic Carreer he has done archeology in Syria (Palmyra, Aleppo) and  has written several books about Art issues. Master of Chinese mandarin by  Singapore Chinese Nanyang University, he has been several times in China and  has published various articles about China's external policy.
