Dans le Nord de l'Angleterre durement frappé par la reconversion industrielle, en pleine vague punk de la fin des années 1970, Vincent Smith, Lynton Powell, Kevin Holme et Stevie Mullin, quatre jeunes rebelles emportés par la tornade des Sex Pistols, décident de former un groupe, Blood Truth, qui très vite défraye la chronique par son agressivité et sa récupération du mythe du King.
