Description and back drop In the year preceding this publication I flew from my home in Missouri to Atlanta to meet Christian Riehl , Publisher from Strasbourg, France. Christian and I met through a mutual friend in Washington, DC . He sought help with US customs and Diocesan history projects and distributions. We worked together for several years and what began as a operational business relationship ,expanded into a great friendship which involved projects such as this. We were meeting Mrs. Robert Jones who's late husband was assistant to the late Mr. Robert Woodruff, President of Coca-Cola 1923-1954 and influential board member until 1984. She had met Father Maestri , Author, while he was on temporary assignment from The New Orleans Diocese. She and other Atlanta Diocese members were attracted to his earlier works and message of faith, personality , character, steeped in scripture. Deeply Inspired , she sponsored this wonderful project , a hard bound, gold-leafed coffee table treasure, illustrated by famous Portrait Artist "Rossin". Side ...We had just completed a proposal which was submitted to FEMA and DOT in the event of a domestic emergency. Our company was one of two who submitted proposals. I speculate, others may of felt such a under-taking would involve enormous risk. Our office was selected by FEMA to move a large majority of equipment, personnel and supplies to and from all three disaster sites during 9/11. Over 400 mission assignments where completed successfully. We operated 24/7 for 28 days around the clock. We were behind the scenes, proud to be actively involved , yet saddened and angry for the reason why. We had little rest , with quiet efficiency and resolve , in respect to all those who gave their lives, those suffering and the imminent retribution, we moved forward. "I have enormous faith and believe in divine intervention, we are here at a time and place for a reason.
