Canadienne d’origine, Mellissa Morgan vit à Londres. Elle a fait ses débuts dans la pâtisserie en 2010 en proposant des gâteaux végétaliens dans les marchés londoniens. L’accueil immédiat du public la pousse à ouvrir une boutique l’année suivante dans le quartier de Brixton. Le succès énorme remporté par ce lieu décalé, éthique et convivial lui vaut une nomination Baking Industry Awards Rising Star, dès 2011. Elle publiera son premier livre de cuisine en 2013.
