Synopsis
Un chemin de mots vers le Japon. Matcha est une grenouille verte et malicieuse qui vit dans un marécage au Japon et aimerait bien des bébés avant l’hiver. Justement, un nouveau voisin vient de s’installer, et il est beau comme un samouraï… Eva Offredo nous conte une jolie histoire de batraciens amoureux tout en nous faisant découvrir le Japon, ses coutumes et sa langue. L’histoire est ponctuée de mots japonais qui pour la plupart nous sont familiers tels que bento, futon, karaoké, tsunami… Et d’autres plus mystérieux comme onsen, biwa, daikon… Une jolie façon de partir à la découverte de ce pays fascinant guidé par le coup de crayon graphique et zen de l’illustratrice. Un album en noir et vert, aux couleurs du marécage… À partir de trois ans.

About the Author
Après un BTS à Olivier de Serre, Eva Offredo intègre les Arts Déco de Paris, en spécialité illustration. C’est là qu’elle rencontre la directrice artistique des Éditions Gautier-Languereau qui apprécie son travail. Depuis elle a aussi publié au Rouergue. Sortie en 2002 de l’école, Eva Offredo a travaillé pour plusieurs supports de presse notamment pour Libération, le magazine Elle et Pomme d’Api.
