C’est à ce moment-là que Philippe a l’idée de génie de l’offrir à grand-mère. Sceptique au départ, celle-ci trouvera une façon bien à elle de gérer la bête !

,When Philippe sees the super Boom Max 500 in the hardware store window, it's love at first sight. He is convinced that he and his family absolutely need this famous smart robot vacuum cleaner. So it is with great excitement and pleasure that, a few days later, he opens his birthday present and discovers Arthur! Because, yes, the super robot vacuum cleaner will be called Arthur. The days go by and, although it's honeymoon bliss at first, Arthur's little flaws quickly take over and everyone starts to get a little exasperated at having to share their daily lives with the robot. That's when Philippe has the brilliant idea of giving it to his grandmother. Skeptical at first, she finds her own way of dealing with the beast!

About the Authors

Marie-Catherine Lapointe began her life in Quebec City, and you can hear it when she says “arrête” and “baleine.” She is finishing her thesis in creative writing at the University of Quebec in Montreal and regularly publishes her work in magazines whose names begin with the letter “p,” such as Postures, Popenstock, and Panier de crabes. She is also the author of Guides drôles et sympathiques sur l'art de vivre au chalet and Manuel du parfait tannant published by Cardinal. In her spare time, you'll find her at the Saint-Michel Flea Market looking for old books on etiquette and Dominion glassware. She also collects used trophies (even though she's never won anything).

Aurélie Grand was born in 1983. She studied graphic design in Vancouver in 2006 and has been an illustrator since 2009. She has a master's degree in animal behavior and has been living between France and Quebec since 2009. Beyond drawing, she draws inspiration from music, gastronomy, travel, storms, and Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, which she hasn't seen since 2012.
