Synopsis
Jacques Prévert et Robert Doisneau : des amis - ils le disent tout les deux. Cet album est l'histoire de leurs balades, de leur amitié, de leur complicité. "C'est Prévert qui m'a appris le Château Tremblant et le pont de Crimée", se souvient Doisneau. En lisant Prévert, on voit surgir les photographies de Doisneau : rue de Buci, les Halles, le canal Saint-Martin... En regardant Doisneau, on entend les poèmes de Prévert : "Les enfants qui s'aiment", "Et la fête continue", "Les feuilles mortes"... Leurs promenades les mènent dans les quartiers les plus populaires - ceux qui en parlent -, les photos qui en résultent semblent toutes inspirées par l'amour des choses qui vont ensemble : les accordéonistes et les danseurs, les tatoueurs et les tatoués, Gréco et Saint-Germain-des-Prés, les amoureux et les quais de la Seine... Le poète et le photographe, c'est Jacques Prévert qui l'écrit, ont la complicité du gibier et du braconnier. Ici, le poète se laisse tirer le portrait sans méfiance par Doisneau, car quelque chose lui dit qu'il est en pays de connaissance, qu'il est face à un compagnon de voyage, à un compatriote de la vie.

About the Author
Robert Doisneau (1912-1994) a débuté sa carrière comme opérateur d'André Vigneau, puis comme photographe industriel aux usines Renault à Boulogne-Billancourt. En 1946, il intègre l'agence Rapho, qui vendra ses clichés à des magazines aussi divers que Life, Paris Match, Point de vue, Vogue, Réalités, Regards ou La Vie Ouvrière. Son oeuvre multiple, aux 450 000 négatifs, ne cesse d'être redécouverte.
