This ninth publication by the Université de Moncton's Chaire d'études acadiennes is proof of the vitality and dynamism of the scientific research found in the Acadian university milieu. Over thirty researchers have joined forces to resent within these 20 chapters a rich display of the different facets of Acadian life in the Maritimes.
The texts assembled show the direction taken by each of the scientific disciplines in their attempt to outline a reality that seems richer and more complex as you discover it.
The scientific presentation used in the work has three objectives in mind: to situate the researcher's thought to the subject studied, to guide the user in his/her consultation by using a standard presentation, and to encourage intellectual thought.
