This is the first volume of the Invasion of Paris, which records the first 500 space invaders put up in Paris in the years 1998-2003. This book has been produced from start to finish by Invader, who states that his invasion guides are an integral part of his work. More than a simple book of photographs, this is a genuine manual, a precise and functional guide which reveals the works by the artist disseminated around the City of archives, maps, an index, and, above all, more than a thousand photos make it an unusual object offering multiple points of entry. It remains only to hope that you enjoy your read, or rather, your exploration of Paris and of Invader's work. The first printing of this first volume included 2500 PVC covers, as well as 50 tiled hardcovers, numbered and signed by Invader.
