About the Author:

Gaetan Mourgue-d'Algue, 3 times French amateur champion, helped popularize the then little known sport of golf in continental Europe and was instrumental in establishing the European Tour. Kristel Mourgue-d'Algue was golf individual and team-winner of the 1995 US National Collegiate Athletic Association. She has been involved in golf book publishing for over 10 years. Bruce Critchley has been reviewing the top world courses for the past 20 years while commentating for the British TV channel Sky Sports. Peter Pugh is co-author of Creating Classics, a comprehensive book on Harry S. Colt's architecture and golf courses.
