About the Author

Liliane Wong is Professor and Chair of the Department of Interior Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Her interest and teaching in this subject led her to co-found the Int|AR Journal on Design Interventions & Adaptive Reuse. Her teaching emphasizes the importance of public engagement in architecture and design. Liliane Wong received her MArch from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. She was recognized by Design Intelligence in 2018–19 as one of the top 25 most admired educators in the US in the fields of architecture, interiors and landscape architecture.
