Synopsis
In addition to developing the b2 kitchen system for bulthaup, EOOS has spent four years studying the poetics of the kitchen. It was not possible to incorporate all of the insights derived from this extended study in the project - thus the idea for this book. Poetical Analysis is the method used by EOOS to seek out and study the intuitive images, myths and rituals it bases its design on.
40 objects from the kitchen serve here as a point of departure for this new philosophy of design.

About the Author
The design studio EOOS was founded in Vienna in 1995 by Martin Bergmann, Gernot Bohmann and Harald Gründl and is currently active in three areas of design: flagship stores, furniture/products, and basic research.
