Vol-II of the book is divided into 5 chapters designed in a manner that tries to manage a logical progression through SDLC phases. The salient features of Chapter 4 are Java Coding Standards, Error Handling, Validation Checks for different modules of HRMPS. Coding standards guarantee that the code is readable and maintenable while validation ensures that the accurate data enters into the database. Chapter 5 focuses on testing and debugging basics with an overview of different testing strategies and different test cases for HRMPS.Chapter 6 focuses on System Security Measures with the equal emphasis on database security and application security by creating different roles based on the level of the employee in an organization and defining proper access permission for each role. Chapter 7 deals with the cost estimation of the project focusing on Net Present Value and Internal Rate on Return.
