Nonstop-Action im Schatten des Kölner Doms, denn die Bombe tickt...
Ein Mann droht, mit einem Sprengstoffgürtel bewaffnet den Kölner Dom in die Luft zu sprengen. Im Dom sitzt der nach einem Herzinfarkt dienstunfähiggeschriebene Kommissar Landgräf. Der Erpresser Roman Winter hat sich ihn als Vermittler ausgesucht. Landgräf weiß noch nicht, warum. Im Zuge der ersten Ermittlung taucht eine Frau bei der Polizei auf, die behauptet, die Frau des Erpressers zu sein, und gibt an, dass ihr Mann es absolut ernst meint. Die Lage spitzt sich dramatisch zu.
