It is a practical day-to-day tool that will help to explain clearly and concisely over 5,000 terms used in the profession. The second edition has been completely revised and approximately 2,000 new terms added. All the terms are arranged in one alphabetical sequence, still incorporating the six themes present in the first edition: Information sources; Information handling; Computers and Telecommunications; Management; Research methodology; Publishing. In addition the dictionary offers full definitions for all synonymous terms and acronyms.
