Gegenstand der Arbeit ist die Frage, ob es im europäischen Recht ein Solidaritätsprinzip gibt und in welcher Weise es in Erscheinung tritt. Grundlage der Untersuchung ist eine inhaltliche Bestimmung des Begriffs der Solidarität. Darauf aufbauend wird das Solidaritätsprinzip im Recht der Europäischen Union begutachtet. Dafür werden die europäischen Verträge auf Rechtsgrundlagen für solidarische Pflichten hin untersucht und die Erscheinungsformen, in denen die Solidarität im europäischen Recht zutage tritt, systematisiert. Abschließend wird untersucht, welche Grenzen dem Solidaritätsprinzip gesetzt sind.

About the Author:
Die Autorin: Tonia Hieronymi, geboren 1971, studierte Rechtswissenschaften an der Universität Bonn; erstes Staatsexamen 1995. Anschließend leistete sie ihr Referendariat am Landgericht Ellwangen ab. Nach dem zweiten Staatsexamen 1998 war sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Lehrstuhl von Prof. Dr. Armin Hatje an der Universität Bielefeld tätig. Seit 2001 ist sie Landesverwaltungsrätin z.A. beim Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe in Münster; Promotion 2002.
