Gegenwärtige Kunst als kritische Instanz verweist auf die Autonomie der Ästhetik, die stets Tendenzen abwehren muss, welche sie einzuschränken oder gar zu vernichten drohen: dies waren und sind hauptsächlich autoritär-politische Vereinnahmungen.
