Synopsis
The monograph is a contribution to the recently very active field of swarm analysis and distributed control of networked autonomous robots. It contains sufficient scientific contributions and timely ideas for applications. From the perspective of interacting dynamical systems and associated interaction graphs, remarkable mathematically rigorous results are developed, which explain how global collective behaviors emerge from purely local interaction and are essential in synthesizing cooperative control for distributed autonomous robotic systems. About the Author
Zhiyun Lin is a Research Professor in the College of Electrical Engineering at Zhejiang University, China. He received his Ph.D. degree in electrical & computer engineering from University of Toronto, Canada, in 2005. His research interests include analysis and control of distributed networked dynamic systems in engineering, biology and physics.
