Everyone agrees that something needs to be done to tackle climate change, especially in Developing Countries where the impacts of climate change are assumed to be tremendous. However, when it comes to the implementation of concrete necessary actions on a country level, there is no blue-print solution available and the argumentation line of politicians often shifts to the core question: "How to combat climate change without sacrificing economic growth and poverty reduction?" The earlier literature surveyed dealt with the different development goals of economic growth, poverty reduction and climate change either separately or on a very holistic level. This thesis examines the inter-relations between the 3 goals and the interdependencies a country such as India with national and international stakeholders has to face. According to these findings, an ‘Integrated Conflict Resolution Approach’ summarizes the roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder that should take place in an ideal world to ensure a long-term solution of the conflicts.
